Adding human blocks

All chats will start with the bot blocks inside the Chat Start.

The first building components you will use are human blocks, which are available by clicking the green human button at the bottom of each block.

A human block is a customer intent.

An intent is chatbot jargon that refers to the goal of a customer query, which may be expressed with text, media, webpage behaviour, etc. There are many types of human blocks which we will describe.

To delete a human block click on the three dots on the top right of each block and select Delete.

To rename a human block, click its header to open the editor window on the right-hand side. Then double click on the name of the block and type the new name.

Best practice

Rename your human blocks so they are easy to search later on.

To change a human block type, click on the three dots on the top right of each block and select Change type. You can only change the human block type for Message, Greeting, Goodbye, Bio, Negative, Positive and Filler.

To move the position of a human block from a level to another, click on the three dots on the top right of each block and select Move to.

Search the human block you want to move to by name or numeric ID and click Move.
